Last day for Twitter. The Everything App (X): What’s New?

A new app will take its place: X — The Everything App.

Twitter is constantly evolving, and the new app, X, is no exception. The app is still under development, but it has a number of new features that are sure to make it more user-friendly and engaging.

New Creator Monetization Program

One of the most significant changes is the new creator monetization program. Under the old program, creators had to meet certain criteria, such as having a subscription button or 5 million impressions per month, in order to be eligible for payments. The new program is much more inclusive, and creators will now be able to get paid for their content regardless of their following size.

New Video Features

Another major change is the new video features. The maximum video length has been increased to 10 hours, and picture-in-picture video watching is now enabled. This means that creators will be able to share longer-form content, and users will be able to watch videos while they’re using other apps.

Here’s 10 features that are coming for The Everything App (X):

1. Creator Payments: The first payouts have been processed. Some updates include no longer needing a subscription button, no longer needing 5M impressions per month, and soon being paid for profile visits.

2. Followers: The term followers may be changed to “viewers.”

3. Bookmark Changes: The bookmarking feature is underwhelming and is receiving updates. These updates include bookmarking straight from the timeline, a search feature for bookmarks, and a weekly email with saved bookmarks.

4. Highlights Tab: This tab has been implemented, but not many people use it. Twitter’s designer has also come out and said she doesn’t love it. It is likely that we will see changes to it soon.

5. Shadowbans: Shadowbans are an issue on Twitter. Elon confirmed that Twitter will show shadowbans directly on user’s profiles.

This will include:

1.Active shadowban

2. The reason for the ban

3. Potentially a solution

6. Videos: Updates have been made to videos on the platform. The maximum video length is 10 hours, picture-in-picture video watching is enabled, and livestreaming video has a high priority and will be implemented soon. A Smart TV App is also in the making.

7. Easy Scam Reporting: The current reporting system is very long and cluttered. It will be easier to report accounts. Abuse will be heavily punished.

8. Platform Color Default: The platform color might change from white to black.

9. Financial Institution: “If done right, X would become half of the global f financial system.” The vision is to create the most efficient database for the thing that is money.

Goals include:

1. The least amount of fraud

2. Everything real time

3. Seamless integration.

10. New Like Animation: My personal favorite is the new animation when you like a tweet.
